About the Children's Choir
As part of the Chorale's mission to provide music opportunities for children in the Metro West Region, the Chorale has sponsored a children's choir. This group will be an independent non-profit organization to provide a place for children to join together and learn how to perform and create music.
For the upcoming year, we will be working with the Millis Recreational Department to spread the word and generate interest. Let everyone you know about this great opportunity.
The Charles River Children's Choir invites all children ages 6 - 10 from Millis and throughout the Metro West Region to join us in a new music program. The Choir will meet weekly starting in September as we prepare for a performance in December.
The Choir will learn how to read music, hear music and make music together. This program is sponsored by The Charles River Chorale, a 60 piece regional adult choir that performs a holiday and spring concert in Millis. The Children's Choir will be invited to sing with the CRC twice a year in addition to their stand alone concert.
This combined performance is a truly unique and very valuable opportunity for our children's musical education.
